Come support baby Axel!!

IMost of you have heard our requests for prayer for Kelsey Logan Hall and baby Axel Rush Hall is recent weeks. This benefit 5k run/walk is to aide them in the financial weight that comes with medical care and travel. Here is their story:

On December 17th, 2014, Kelsey was admitted into Saint Thomas Rutherford with Severe Preeclampsia. Kelsey was 27 weeks and 5 days pregnant at the time. Her blood pressure continued to rise, she started to retain fluid due to her kidneys not functioning properly, her blood platelets began to drop, and her liver began to stop functioning. Kelsey was put on Magnesium to prevent seizures and stroke and the doctor gave her two doses of steroids to help the baby's lungs and brain development. She was transferred to Saint Thomas Midtown where she was told she would remain until the baby was born. On December 19th, 2014 the doctors diagnosed Kelsey with the HELLP Syndrome and delivery couldn't wait any longer. Thankfully the steroids needed 48 hours to reach their peak for the baby and the 48 hours had passed. She was rushed into surgery and underwent a C-Section and at 9:25 p.m. on December 19th, 2014 at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital Axel Rush Hall was born at 28 weeks. He weighed 1 lb. 15 oz and was 13 1/2 inches long. He was immediately taken to the NICU, possibly coming home on Valentine's Day but it dependents on his progress in the NICU.
The Halls live in Huntland, and will be traveling to Nashville every other day to be with Axel until he is able to come home. All the praying, help and donations are greatly appreciated. God bless.
